The strings of Sunita`s Celtic Harp and Gal`s fiddle resonate with the echoes of ancient footsteps. The music of Tzalool draws from the deep well of traditional Celtic and Jewish music yet reflects the dynamic melting pot of today`s Israel. Hints of jazz improvisation, gypsy rhythms and even classical overtones are entwined with traditional Celtic and Jewish music. Together, Gal and Sunita create their own arrangements of the traditional tunes. They started their journey with Celtic music and have forged a new path by blending both Jewish and Celtic music.
Currently, the concerts of Tzalool draw upon traditional Irish music from their debut recording,”Have you been at the river ?”. The title track to their new CD belongs to the gentle and magical side of Celtic music. Tzalool`s performances are intimate and touch your soul as they balance slow aires with rhythmic dances full of the joy of life.
